The performance advantage of Pro-grade liners originates at the microstructural level. Austenitic manganese steel derives its wear resistance through work-hardening — a dynamic phase transformation of the surface layer under repeated impact loading in service.

Tengsheng's tighter metallurgical controls suppress undissolved and precipitated carbides at austenite grain boundaries — the primary cause of premature brittle fracture in inferior castings. W1 rating means near-zero harmful carbide phases remaining after solution annealing.

The austenitic matrix must be fully homogeneous before service. Our Pro-grade W1 certification confirms complete carbide dissolution, providing maximum toughness before surface work-hardening begins. This is the critical difference in high-impact primary crushing applications.

Solution Annealing

All liners water-quenched from ≥1050°C to fully dissolve carbides into the austenitic matrix, ensuring a single-phase microstructure before service begins.

Higher Mn content (Mn18, Mn22) delivers superior work-hardening. Surface hardness rises from ~200 HB to 500+ HB under impact loading — creating a self-renewing wear layer.

Grain Boundary Integrity

W1-rated castings show no detrimental carbide networks at austenite grain boundaries — the critical factor preventing premature intergranular fracture in high-stress crusher applications.

Full-surface dimensional scan using structured-light 3D technology. Point cloud data is compared against CAD nominal geometry to detect warping, shrinkage and dimensional deviations. Guarantees precise fit in the crusher chamber — no field grinding required.

Liquid penetrant testing (PT) applied to all critical surfaces and mounting interfaces. Detects surface-breaking cracks, cold shuts, micro-porosity and laps invisible to visual inspection — especially critical for heavy-section gyratory and jaw liners.

Trial Assembly & Certification
